Do you have what it takes?
How many steps to launch a rocket?
How many steps to launch an oboe player?
I’ve tested the key steps over and over. Let me guide you to reach your goal.
From the Ground
Get the foundation right. Stay relaxed. Breathe deeply. Say HAH! Everything Oboe depends on correct deep breaths.
The Right Fuel
The correct fuel mixture is critical. Let’s play long notes and begin scale patterns. There are so many interesting patterns to use for the best outcome.
Ignition
Apply what you’ve learned and power it with new agility and speed.
Liftoff
Play your repertoire. Learn it. Perform it in public. Work towards a successful exam.
Orbiting
There’s ease to your playing. It has taken off! And you’ve reached new heights. You needed all the steps to reach this amazing view of earth. It’s peaceful because you have the right habits. You put in the work.
Destination approaching
Keep fit. Keep practising, a major destination is in sight. Don’t miss this space-docking opportunity.
Dig deep. It sometimes takes several attempts to dock your space ship.
Docked!
You’ve reached your desired destination. Congratulations!
